My conclusion: in my case, the problem was a bad series of CD-Rs. ERROR: '/dev/disk/by-label/ARCH_201504' device did not show up after 30 seconds... Solution is quite simple just disable driver for floppy and reboot the system. I've tried Universal-USB-Installer-184.108.40.206 and unetbootin-windows-584 but failed, But using "laomaotao" installed Mint 14 KDE successfully. Source
