Good Luck! My Laptop is very new and there is no problem while using Windows 7 and 8. I have burned more than 15 CDs of (inferior brands) and tried installations with no luck until I used this disk. That said, removing 1/2 my RAM fixed this issue. On occasion they may be kernel bugs, which are not my area of expertise. Because :- 1- You can go into your bios and detect that you have the correct size of ram (4GB) and also boot windows 7/8 and use it just fine, no It's a bug I hope they fix, but for now it's nice to know the temporary solution is working.
